- Advanced ceramic powder synthesis (production of carbides, borides and nitride powders) and processing
- Material production by hot pressing
- Material production by spark plasma sintering
- Production and characterization of ultra-high temperature ceramics and composites, ballistic armours, ceramics and composites for nuclear applications, transparent polycrystalline ceramics, functionally graded materials (FGMs) and various bio-ceramics and bio-alloys.
