- Surface technologies: Surface characterisation of metallic and ceramic based materials, nano-composite coating, kaplamalar, production and characterisation of shaped thin films and hard-ceramic coating, phsical vapor deposition and electrochemical coating systems, nano technologies and nano materials
- Tribology Systems: research of friction&wear properties of thin films
- Corrosion and corrosion protection: Protection of metal and alloys from corrosion and inreasing of corrosion resistance, chatodic protection and metallic coating to corrosion protection.
- Bio-Engineering and Bio-Materials: Research of biological behaviours of materials surface, improving Bio-MEMS systems
